in GeoPro Web App

2-Step Verification is a form of multi-factor authentication. It’s a method of confirming a user’s claimed identity in which a user of a system is granted access only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism. In GeoPro, this allows portal users to provide a verification code in addition to their user name and password when logging in for additional security. This code is supplied either via SMS or the Google Authenticator app, thus providing a 2-step authentication process.

Note: 2-Step Verification on GeoPro can be set as "required" or "optional" for all users. By default, this disabled for all accounts. If you would like to enable 2-Step Verification, please contact Roadpost Technical Support.
