Follow the steps below on how to insert the SIM card into the Iridium Extreme.

Solution: Insert SIM card

1. Remove the battery by twisting the d-ring set screw counter clockwise and pulling away from the phone. See the diagram below for additional assistance
2. 
3. Unlock the SIM card door by sliding it to upwards
4. Note the position of the cut corner in the SIM card slot
5. Lift up the SIM card door
6. Insert SIM card into SIM card door
7. Ensure the cut corner of the SIM card lines up with the cut corner on the phone
8. Close SIM card door
9. Slide the SIM card door downwards to lock it in to place
10. Insert the battery and twist the d-ring set screw clockwise to lock it in to place
11. Firmly press on the center of the battery to ensure it is well seated 
12. Press and hold power button
13. The handset will power on and begin to search for the Iridium network
