Follow the steps below if the LED indicators are not working on the GeoPro Messenger GPM1000.
Note: The GeoPro Messenger has built-in LEDs which provide the status and notifications for the following functions; Power, Emergency, and New messages
Solution: Configuring “Msg Waiting LED”
- Press the “Menu” softkey.
- Scroll to “Unit Settings” and press the “Select” softkey.
- Scroll to “Event Alerts” and press the “Select” softkey.
- Scroll to “LED Alerts” and press the “Select” softkey.
- Scroll to “Msg Waiting LED” and press the “Select” softkey.
- Scroll to the desired option (ON or OFF) and press the “Select” softkey.
- Press the “Back” softkey to save the setting and return to the previous menu.
- Send a message to the device and confirm the selected LED setting is active.
- If the selected LED setting is not working, power the device OFF and back ON again and repeat step 8.
- If the LED alert is still not working, please contact GeoPro Technical Support to make arrangements for an RMA.
