Administrators and Monitors have the ability to locate a device's email address. The GeoPro web app assigns a unique device email address that can be used to initiate communication with a device from out side of the GeoPro web app. Someone that does not have access to the GeoPro web app or just wishes to communicate via email, can use the device email address to send 160 character text-only messages.
Note: Attachments, graphics and HTML should be completely avoided.
1. To locate a device's email address, navigate to the Devices tab and select the desired device.
2. The device page for the selected device will be displayed, select Configure from the list.
3. From the device configuration page, select Advanced from the list.
3. The Advanced page will display specific information pertaining to the selected device. The device email address will be displayed under the Email Address heading.
4. To send an email to the device's unique Email Address, simply compose a new message using your email client, remove any signatures, graphics or attachments, enter the device email address in the recipient field, and compose a text message up to 160 characters.
