in How-To

Follow the steps below on how to place a call using Iridium Two-Stage Dialing for the Iridium 9505A, 9555 & Iridium Extreme.

NOTE: Iridium offers a number in Arizona that anyone can call which then forwards the call to any Iridium satellite phone. The customer is then only charged for the call to Arizona and not the much higher charge of calling the Iridium phone directly.

Solution: How to call the satellite phone using two stage dialing

  1. Dial 1-480-768-2500, a North American, Arizona-based number.
  2. When prompted, enter the 12-digit Iridium number you wish to call starting with 8816-XXX-XXXXX.

Example: If your Iridium number is 8816-310-12345, callers dial 1-480-768-2500, and when prompted, enter your 12-digit Iridium number 8816-310-12345.
