Follow the steps below on how to send a text message.

Solution 1: Sending a text message to another phone

1. Press the Envelope key
2. Scroll to Message Editor, and press OK
3. Type desired message, and press OK
4. Send Message appears, press OK
5. Enter destination number, starting with + followed by country code, area code and phone number
• Example: + 1 416 253 6008
6. Press OK
7. Send will appear on the display, press OK

Example 1: If the cellular number you are sending your text message to is (212) 555 1212, you will dial 00 1 212 555 1212.

Example 2: If the Iridium number you are sending your text message to is (8816) 325 12345, you will dial + 8816 325 12345 the "OK" key.
