Follow the steps below on how to send a text message to an Email address using the Iridium 9505A

Solution: Sending a text message to an Email address

1. Press the Envelope key.
2. Scroll to “Message Editor”, press "OK".
3. Compose your message beginning with recipient email address followed by a space and the content of your message.
• To create the ‘@’ character, press the "1" key seven times
• Example: johnsmith@mail.com<space>Having a great trip!
4. Press "OK".
5. “Send Message” will appear, press "OK".
6. When prompted for the destination number, enter +*2 and press "OK".
