Follow the steps below on how to use the Iridium Phonebook Tool to upload contacts to the Iridium 9555, Extreme, and Extreme PTT.

NOTE: This software only works with Windows.

Step 1: Download Iridium Phonebook Tool

1. Download the Iridium Phonebook Tool from article attachment
2. Open the zip file and extract the executable file

Step 2: Create contact database

1. Connect phone to computer via USB
2. Open phonebook tool
3. Keep clicing next until you reach the "Copy from handset..." menu
4. Select your Iridium phone and click "Next"
5. Select "SIM Phonebook"
6. Click "Next"
7. Click "browse" beside the "csv file" option
8. Name the .csv file
9. Click "Save" 

Step 3: Upload contacts back to phone

1. Open the Iridium Phonebook tool
2. Click on "Next"
3. Your phone will be detected, click "Next"
4. The "Please select the handset you wish to copy from" screen will appear
5. Click on "Browse" beside "CSV file"
6. Select your .csv file from step 2
7. Click "Open"
8. Click "Next" 
9. The "Please select the handset you wish to copy to" screen will appear
10. Select "Iridium 9555 on COM8" Note: Your phone may appear on a different COM port
11. Click "Next"
12. Select "SIM phonebook" or "My Phonebook"
13. The "Edit Phonebook" screen will appear
14. Fill in the cells until your contacts are loaded
15. Click "Next"
16. Click "Next" again to upload
